From Hackensack to Harlem and back home again, Eden Church was planted to reflect God’s edenic vision for New Jersey — a community where Jesus is worshiped and lives are cultivated with care.

Who we are

What is Eden Church?

Eden Church began with a simple but costly calling: go home and take care of Jersey. Founded by Pastor Brandon and his wife Malia in August 2023, Eden was born out of a story of grace, redemption, and a deep love for New Jersey. After growing up in Hackensack, walking through seasons of brokenness, and encountering Christ in a powerful way, Brandon sensed a clear call from God to return and build a community shaped by care, conviction, and hope.

Eden exists because Jesus reigns here — and because New Jersey is worth caring for.

Our Vision

In New Jersey as it is in New Jerusalem

Eden Church exists with a clear vision: that God’s kingdom would be made visible in New Jersey. “In New Jersey as it is in New Jerusalem” reflects our belief that Jesus reigns here and that His restoring work is not distant or abstract, but present and active in the places we live, work, and worship.

Eden Church exists to crown the Garden State with the care of Christ. Our mission shapes how we love people, serve our neighbors, and build a community rooted in the way Jesus cares for the world. Every gathering, group, and act of service flows from this calling to reflect Christ’s care across New Jersey.

Our motto is both a declaration and a daily practice. “We Take Care of Jersey” is how Eden lives out faith in real places, with real people, across the Garden State. It is a commitment to show up, stay rooted, and participate in God’s work right where we live.

Eden Kids Team

Raising up a generation that takes care of Jersey by creating safe, engaging, and Christ-centered environments for elementary kids.

Hospitality Team

Giving people their first impression of how Christ cares for them by welcoming, assisting, and serving guests with warmth and intentionality.

Prayer Team

Helping us entreat the favor of the One who cares the most about New Jersey through prayer, intercession, and spiritual support.
